James M. Early CSSC



Jim is Sr. Vice President Eastern Region, Associate in charge of the Manchester, New Hampshire office, a member of the Ringler Board of Directors, and he is a member of the National Structured Settlements Trade Association (NSSTA).

He has over 25 years of insurance and structured settlements experience, and has arranged over 3,500 structured settlements in 41 states since 1985. In personal injury settlements, he specializes in the areas of complex trusts, Medicare and Medicaid issues, mass torts and environmental claims.

His insurance career began in 1976 as a Claim Representative with the Insurance Company of North America in Milwaukee. He served with INA (later CIGNA) in a number of claim capacities, returning to his native New England as Manager of the Providence Office and as a Unit Manager in Boston. In 1984, Jim joined the Providence-Washington Insurance Company as the Assistant Regional Claims Manager before entering the structured settlement field in 1985.

In 1996, he received his certification as a Certified Structured Settlement Consultant. The CSSC designation is granted following successful completion of a course of study established by the National Structured Settlements Trade Association and the University of Notre Dame. In 1997, Jim was appointed to the Rhode Island Governor’s Insurance Council, and is a member of the Boston Association of Claims Executives. He is former member of the Board of Directors of the National Structured Settlements Trade Association.

Jim is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee where he received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in history. He served as an Armor Officer in the U.S. Army and U.S. Army Reserve, service which included two Unit Commands.
