William D. Wakelee, CSSC



Bill Wakelee is the Vice President, and Business Development Director, for the Eastern Region of Ringler Associates. He also heads the company's ongoing RPM productivity software development project. He has 25 years of claims management, financial, and structured settlement experience. He has been involved in the negotiation and settlement of claims via the use of structured settlements exclusively since 1991.

Bill began his career in the insurance industry with Allstate and Cigna, in a variety of claim management positions. He also served as Regional Training Director while at Cigna. Prior to joining Ringler Associates, Bill was an Assistant Vice President with a prominent settlement annuity firm in their Philadelphia region and was a member of several other leading broker companies.

He has been a member of the National Structured Settlements Trade Association (NSSTA) since 1991, and is their former National Education Committee Chairman. He has also been a member of the American Society for Healthcare Risk Management (ASHRM) since 1992.

Bill earned his Bachelor of Science degree, and Masters in Business Administration in Finance degree, from LaSalle University in Philadelphia. He received his Certified Structured Settlement Consultant (CSSC) designation from NSSTA through their association with the University of Notre Dame.

He has been a staff instructor in CPCU, AAI and AIC for the Insurance Society of Philadelphia since 1990. Bill has also co-hosted over 10 shows on Ringler Radio produced by the Legal Talk Network, including the three-part “Personal Injury Victims as a Unique Investor Class”, as well as shows on “Behavioral Finance”, “Trusts”, and other financial topics.

He has also served as an Adjunct Faculty member for the past seven years at the Erivan K. Haub School of Business, Department of Finance, at St. Joseph’s University. Bill has also been a staff member at Eastern University, and at Gywnedd Mercy College.
